Posted By admin On 22.05.20I have the LG WH14NS40 -- after days of frustration, there is seemingly no way to get the drive (or Windows 10) to recognize any blank BD-R that I put into it. I've done everything from uninstalling/re-installing the drive, trying more blank discs, making sure the driver/Windows/BIOS is up to date, even trying out a registry fix tutorial.
Nothing works. If you insert a blank BD-R (I am using Verbatim BD-Rs), it clicks a few times, then there's no prompt at all. If you open File Manager and double click the drive, it automatically opens the tray and asks you to 'Please insert a disc into drive F:'.

My drive is fully recognized by Windows 10, and CDs/DVDs read and write with no problems on this drive.
I read something about Windows 10 not supporting Blu-Ray burning, and it having something to do with anti-piracy. Also, it seems like all of the other BR burners I'm researching do not even have drivers that were updated after Windows 10 was released. Is it even possible to burn Blu-Rays through Windows 10?!
