After turning my computer on, Windows 10 decided to do some update installation, likely from an update that happened while my computer was on overnight. Get to my desktop, and I have zero audio from my headset EXCEPT when I use the Skype program. Audio works absolutely fine for Skype, but nothing else.

Hi, I have a Logitech G930 and I am unable to install the correct driver. When I plug it to my Windows 10 PC it is recognized as an 'Avnera audio device' and I cannot manually override this using the 'let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer' option in the update driver dialog as it won't list all available drivers.

Things I have tried that have not worked:

-Trying a different USB port

-Making sure my headset was charged (It's at 100% at the time of typing this)

-Making sure my headset volume is turned up (I've had it up to 100% volume with no luck)

-Updating Headset drivers AND Logitech Gaming software

-Uninstalling and reinstalling Headset drivers and software

-Unplugging and plugging back in the USB receiver cable for the headset

-Reconfiguring the Headset (The 'Test' option produces no sound)

-Making sure my Headset is 'Set to Default' in any of the sound setting programs I can find.

-Updating audio drivers

-Reverting audio drivers to 'High Definition Audio' from 'Realtek Audio'

-Testing audio with different programs (Besides Skype, since Skype works fine for some reason) [I've tested the audio with multiple games, with Pandora on Firefox web browser, and with Youtube videos. No sound coming from any of those sources]

-EDIT: I updated Adobe Flash Player just now, saw the suggestion while searching for answers. The Adobe update did not help either.

I did notice that when I'm trying to listen to music on Pandora, and I turn the volume up on my headset, sometimes there's slight, little pops and crackles in the headset speakers.

I've read there's a chance I'd need to update my motherboard drivers, but I've never had to do that even once since my computer was built, so why should I all of a sudden have to do it now because of Windows 10 update that installed itself? I tried watching a Youtube video tutorial that explains how to install motherboard updates, but because of no audio, (and because the Closed Captioning for the video was utter nonsense), it didn't help me much.

Would like an answer or a solution a.s.a.p. Because of the Windows 10 update that was forced onto me without my approval, my computer has basically become a brick. I really enjoy playing my video game and the audio that comes with them, and listening to iTunes and Pandora while playing games, but since I can't do any of those things currently..
